Smith Mills Preschool and Kindergarten celebrated spring and Earth Day this year by creating mini gardens. The children upcycled milk cartons from home and decorated them with paint, glitter, and stickers. After filling with soil, the children planted marigold seeds and now watch the life cycle stages of a plant. Placed in a sunny window in their classroom, the children water their personal gardens each day and look forward to new growth!
