Bishop Stang Girls Volleyball hosted their annual Spike Out Cancer night Oct. 18, not only raising $1,000 but defeating New Bedford High School 3-0. All concession proceeds and donations go to the Jimmy Fund. 

“It was a great night,” Head Coach and Campus Minster Amanda Tarantelli said. “While it was fantastic to get a win on the court, the greater victory was the support raised for the Jimmy Fund.”

Bishop Stang’s homecoming celebrations will begin this Friday, October 27th with a football game, where fans will be able to purchase a rubber duck to throw out onto the field at halftime to see who can land their duck closest to the Spartan logo. The winner will receive Stang swag, and all proceeds will go to the Jimmy Fund.
