Fake and Fatal: Expert forum on dangers of fentanyl/xylazine

Medical professionals and politicians will be speaking on the lethal impact of the drugs fentanyl and xylazine at a forum from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Jan. 31 at UMass Dartmouth. There is no cost to attend the event, which will include a complimentary lunch. Achieve Greatness, Inc., a Massachusetts nonprofit that raises awareness of the dangers of fentanyl, is helping to organize the event.

The forum will feature experts such as Dr. Roneet Lev of Scripps Mercy Hospital; James Rauh, the founder of the nonprofit Families Against Fentanyl; Uttam Dhillon, a former administrator for the Drug Enforcement Administration; and Massachusetts representatives Antonio Cabral and Chris Hendricks.
