With Arbor Day just around the corner, the Dartmouth Tree Committee invites the public to its informational session on Wednesday, May 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the Southworth Library.

Presenters will share initiatives, including a push for a town-wide School Arbor Day Program, a citizens’ science initiative to create an inventory of town trees, an Adopt-A-Tree Program, new tress at Dartmouth Middle School and Town Hall as well as shaping a town bylaw and the committee’s third annual Dartmouth Tree Walk.

There will also be a raffle at the meeting, with the winner taking home a new leafy friend.
