As of Friday, Dartmouth is the only undefeated team in the division. West Springfield, a previous undefeated rival, fell to North Attleboro earlier in the day.

Bishop Stang High School battled through to the Elite Eight in its smaller Division 5 tournament with a win against Norton High School on Nov. 3. The team next plays Hanover High School, again on the road, on Nov. 10 at 6 p.m.

Dartmouth High School’s volleyball team continued with its overwhelmingly positive season with a shutout against Hingham High School on Nov. 2. But for the second time this year, Oliver Ames got in the way of Dartmouth’s success: The Indians lost 3-2, ending their tournament run. Oliver Ames gave Dartmouth trouble in the regular season too, handing the Indians one of their only losses of the year.

Last year, the volleyball team at Dartmouth High School advanced to the final four of the competitive division 2 tournament for the first time in the program’s history

Dartmouth field hockey continued with its blockbuster undefeated season with a dominant win against Bishop Stang High School on Nov. 2. The game knocks the Spartans out, but sets the Indians up for a round of 16 game against 11-seed Longmeadow High School on Nov. 7, which it won 2-0. Dartmouth will play Somerset-Berkley at a to-be-determined date.

The season came to an end last week for both boys and girls soccer at Dartmouth High School. The boys team ended with a record of 7-7-2 after a loss to Westborough High School, while the girls team finished 10-6-1 with a loss to Whitman-Hanson High School.

While the MIAA tournament has a different structure for cross country, Dartmouth and Bishop Stang’s runners will compete in the division 2 waves on Nov. 11 in Wrentham at 11:45 a.m., and will hope to qualify for the Nov. 18 championship.
