Silk Painting: The Color of Taste

Accessibility: There are several steps with handrails leading downstairs into our lower level studio.

Explore your free, creative side through experimentation with color and paint, without the fear of making mistakes. Join instructor Lidia Mikhaylova in this easy, relaxing silk painting workshop. At the end of the class you’ll take home your very own masterpiece! Instead of learning complex techniques, students in this class will observe how the paint lives and moves on the surface of the fabric, using various methods of application.

What does red taste like? Of course, it tastes of strength, joy, energy, maturity and love. The taste of red is the taste of the king of all fruits – the pomegranate! Let’s paint together this symbol of sun, life, abundance, rebirth and immortality–a symbol of love.

All materials will be provided for this two and a half hour course for a small group. Please wear clothes you can paint in.
