Man killed in motorcycle accident on Charge Pond Road

A man died last night following a motorcycle accident on Charge Pond Road on Monday, Aug. 17, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Cristian Hagopian, 23, of Wareham, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital two hours after the accident, according to a sokesperson from Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz's office.

The accident occurred at around 6:50 p.m. on Aug. 17. The spokesperson said that Hagopian was riding his motorcycle with a group of people when he crashed. There were no other riders near him when he crashed his motorcycle, according to eyewitness testimony.

Hagopian's body was found in the woods on the side of the road, while the damaged motorcycle remained on the road.

The spokesperson said that the State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the case.
