Savor the South Coast for a Cause

Turning Point, a resource center from the Wareham Area Committee for the Homeless, invites the community to “Taste of our Towns,” a culinary adventure featuring favorite restaurants and food vendors from the South Coast.

“Taste of Oour Towns” will return for its fourth year Monday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Wareham-New Bedford Elks Lodge, 2855 Cranberry Highway, bringing together local restaurants and food vendors to benefit Turning Point of Wareham.

Attendees can sample featured dishes while supporting Turning Point programs that assist people in need throughout the South Coast. The evening will also feature raffles, music and a cash bar.

The Wareham/New Bedford Elks Lodge and Cranberry Federal Credit Union are among the event’s major sponsors.

Tickets to purchase food samples will be sold at the door.  Individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring the event can call Turning Point at 508-291-3562 and leave a message.
