Man Lifeflighted after being struck by vehicle

A 52-year-old man operating an E-bike suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a motor vehicle Saturday, Sept. 5 in the area of 133 Onset Ave.

Due to the severity of the bicyclist’s injuries, he was transported by Med-Flight to an area trauma center, according to Wareham Police Lt. Bryan Whalen 

The victim’s condition was not known as of Tuesday morning. His name and community of residence was not immediately available.

The 34-year-old male operator of the motor vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with officers during the investigation, according to Whalen.

The crash is under investigation and no further information is available.
