Celebration of Life Notice:
Robert grew up in Braintree,Mass. He graduated from Dartmouth College, Class of 54. He was a talented Antique Appraiser and owned The Hobby Horse Antiques at 339 Front street in Marion for over 45 years. He was a member of The Kittansett Club and Episcopal Church. He was well known in the community and loved Marion.
Eleanor S Mower was born and raised in Marion. She worked at Brown's Pharmacy as a teenager as a soda Jerk. She received her RN degree from Children's Hospital of Boston. Class of 54, and worked in Nursing her entire life. Tobey Hospital, Carver School Systems, Paul A Dever School and many years at Bridgwater State Hospital. She was a longtime Volunteer with the Gleason YMCA and the Town of Marion Christmas Stroll and Town Party. She was a member of The Marion Congregational Church and loved making lobster rolls with her sister Betsy for the annual Church Fair.
They are survived by their son and 2 daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be August 29th at 10:00 at The Congregational church of Marion, followed by their burial and Reception to be held at The Community Center in the downtown village of Marion. All are welcome.
